Tattoo Dos and Don'ts

DOs:
- Keep it clean, dry, and moisturized
- Treat it like a wound that needs time to heal
- Try to keep the bandage on for at least 24 hours
- Change out your bandage after 24 hours
- Keep an eye out for signs of adhesive allergies, as some people are known to break out from second skin use.
- Shower as usual.
- Call your artist with any issues you have
Don'ts:
- No pools, hot tubs, tanning beds, or excessive sun exposure
- No picking at your scab. Lightly slap or pat it instead
- Avoid strenuous exercise for the first few days, as excess sweat can interfere with the healing process
- Avoid scrubbing it in the shower. Instead, gently pat with warm water and soap and let the water rinse off the soap. Pat dry.
- Don't ignore your body. You know your body best, and if something is feeling off, please call your artist right away.
- Don't pay someone else to do a touchup. Touch-ups are FREE for the first year!
- Absolutely under no circumstances should you feed your tattoo after midnight. It never ends well...trust us.
